Vehicle safety
Land Transport NZ currently runs a series of television advertisements that promote the Australian New Car Assessment Programme (ANCAP). The purpose of these advertisements is to direct people to the Rightcar website so they can check out the safety ratings of vehicles.
Land Transport NZ and ACC have also launched a campaign that focuses on vehicle safety. The campaign specifically looks at side curtain airbags and electronic stability control. It aims to increase the awareness of these safety features in vehicles and asks people to consider these safety features as a priority in their next vehicle purchase.

Rail safety
The rail safety campaign aims to increase community awareness of rail safety and to promote rail safety throughout New Zealand. The campaign focuses on vehicle and pedestrian safety around railways and is a collaboration between Land Transport NZ, NZ Police, Ontrack, Toll Rail, the Greater Wellington Regional Council, Veolia and the Chris Cairns foundation.
