Economic evaluation manual software (EEM software)

EEM software is available for conducting some of the economic evaluation procedures contained in EEM1 and EEM2. It is designed for use by councils and their consultants who apply for NLTP funding. It replaces Project evaluation manual software (PEM software) which has been in use from 1998 to 2006.

The EEM software is available in two separate parts. Each part deals with particular procedures from EEM1, and you can download either or both parts. The software can be downloaded and used free of charge.

EEM software part 1 2007 matches the contents of the Economic evaluation manual - volume 1, amendment 1 (EEM1). EEM software part 1 2007 is a new version that will not update or overwrite any previous version of the software.

There have been significant changes to the accident analysis procedures resulting in previous analyses not being able to be converted to this new version. By retaining the old version of the software (PEM version 4.4.0 or earlier), evaluations containing accident analyses undertaken prior to the release of EEM software part 1 can be reviewed. If you have other analyses you wish to open in this new version for updating then make a copy of the projects database for use in the new version. When connected to the 2007 version changes will be made to the database structure that may preclude the database from being opened in former versions of the software.

Note: version 5.1.3 must be installed before running the patch file.
