Land Transport NZ stakeholder surveys

Land Transport New Zealand values the working relationships it has with its stakeholders and see them as crucial to promoting land transport sustainability and safety. To gauge the health of these working relationships Land Transport NZ carries out an annual stakeholder survey. 

2007 survey

Around 200 stakeholders from road controlling authorities, road users groups, Regional Council’s and government agencies took part in the 2007 survey, which gave Land Transport NZ, an approval rating  of 79%, a 2% increase over the previous survey

The 2007 survey shows stakeholders value Land Transport New Zealand's work in:

  • promoting safe land transport
  • keeping stakeholders well informed
  • providing quality assistance and advice.

Some of the areas identified in the survey where Land Transport New Zealand  can make further improvements are:

  • promoting sustainable transport
  • providing training
  • simplifying funding processes.

2005/06 survey

A survey of Land Transport NZ stakeholders was carried out between 29th of May and 19th of June 2006. A total of 155 completed surveys were received from a pool of 404 stakeholders who were invited to participate in the stakeholder survey.
