See the previous section Holding a restricted licence to find out when you can move to a full licence and how you can reduce the required time by completing an approved course.
When you're ready to apply for a full licence, you'll need to go to a driver licensing agent and do the following:
When you pass the full licence test you'll be given a temporary licence, valid for 21 days, to use until you receive your full licence in the mail.
Your full licence should arrive in two to three weeks.
You must carry your driver licence at all times when you drive.
