SRT calculator training courses

Who should attend?

Completion of this training course and the associated tests is a requirement for anyone wishing to be registered with the LTSA as an SRT Certifier. Heavy vehicle operators, vendors and manufacturers who use the internet based version of the SRT Calculator to assess their vehicles will also benefit from a better understanding of the calculator, the underlying assumptions and the input requirements. The course will also be of interest to regulators, enforcement officers, inspection agencies and industry association representatives.

Future courses?

The first series of training courses for Certifiers and other users of the SRT Calculator have now been completed. Further courses will be run to meet demand. To be financially viable a course needs at least 10 attendees at a location. Courses to cover the full Level 2 Certifier requirements take a full day including the tests, but half day courses to cover the Level 1 requirements can be offered if required. Group courses for individual companies or industry groups can be arranged and can be tailored to meet specific needs.
